Our Story
We offer a unique approach to construction; providing personal management of the entire construction process, closely working with the appointed designer, assisting in site surveys, logistical appraisals and full construction with our in-house hard and soft landscaping teams.
What we do
Gardenlink is an award-winning landscape construction business which specialises in working directly with garden designers and landscape architects to turn their creative vision into a high-qualit,y fully planted and landscaped garden. We leave the design of a garden to the expertise of the designers, but many of our clients take advantage of our complimentary pre-design feasibility advice service, and we are always able to recommend designers who we feel are most likely to match our clients requirements and make their vision a reality. Under the (new) directorship of Ken White, Gardenlink has over 20 years of experience working with many of the UK’s leading garden designers and is the winner of three RHS Chelsea gold medals. Once created, the garden can then be expertly maintained by our Maintenance Division to ensure it always looks its best.
Ken WhitE
Ken has worked in horticulture all his adult life, beginning his training at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Edinburgh and the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. Ken, who joined the prestigious Frosts Landscaping company in 2001, becoming Managing Director and completing a management buyout in 2018, has over 30 years’ landscaping experience, winning 3 Chelsea Flower Show medals and over 90 BALI awards.
Ken has been involved in some of the most iconic landscaping projects in the UK, including the Olympic Park and the transformation of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park post-2012 Olympic Games.
As Managing Director of Gardenlink since Dan Flynn’s departure in 2022, Ken is ensuring that Gardenlink continues to offer a first-class service to garden designers and landscape architects alongside a high-quality, professional, uniquely customised service to clients, together with the same key staff and skilled site craftsmen that Gardenlink has always been proud to employ.
Our Ethos
Gardenlink works hand-in-hand with designers to provide in-house skilled operatives to carry out works from earthworks to all aspects of construction. Trained horticulturists then plant the garden, and thereafter most of our clients take advantage of the option to take out a maintenance contract allowing the gardens to fulfil their full potential.
Our Team
The majority of our staff are directly employed and are divided into two divisions which all work alongside each other with skilled operatives assisting each Foreperson. The divisions are split into hard landscaping, soft landscaping & planting teams. These teams are then backed up by an organised and approachable office and management structure of five team members.
